At the beginning of November 2019 I started experiencing digestive problems. Three months later, after many tests I have been diagnosed with stomach cancer. I had great difficulty eating and sleeping during this period and I have lost 50lbs in weight. Since being diagnosed I have been prescribed meds which have stabilized me.
I have started chemotherapy and radiation treatments to be followed by surgery.
I have insurance but my out of pocket medical expenses are considerable
I am now unable to work for the foreseeable future.
I am reluctant to ask for help as I know that many people including some of my friends are worse off than I am.
However many of my friends have kindly offered to help me get through this period financially and have asked how they may contribute .
For those who cannot afford to contribute your good wishes are enough and much appreciated!

Dear Steve,
My utter consolation for your suffering from stomach cancer…! You have been known to me since 1970 when I bought the longplayer “Manfred Mann’s Chapter III” on which you were featured as the bass player. I really liked to jam along to this LP as I had just bought my first electric bass in February 1970. In addition to this my brother had bought the “East of Eden” LP.
Well, I wish you all the best and – above all !! – curation from cancer👍👍!!!!
Best regards, Joachim
